Upcoming Nature Walks
Nature Walk
Help with a UAA Psychology Research Study — Community Nature Walks (Kenai Peninsula)
We’re studying how community nature walks influence positive/negative emotions before and after a walk, and whether adding a brief structured activity on some days makes a difference.
✅ Free group walks on Ski Hill Trail in Soldotna, Alaska.
🗓 Tuesdays & Saturdays
⏰ 5:30–6:30 PM
📆 June 9 – August 29 (weather permitting)
What participation looks like:
Scan a QR code at the walk
Complete one short survey before and one after (on your phone)
Optional: a brief reflection question after the walk
Some walks include a brief guided activity
Gift cards: The first 35 eligible participants who complete both surveys may receive a Kaladi Brothers gift card (first-come, first-served; one per person; while supplies last).
Questions? jrbrowning@alaska.edu
Trail located @ Kenai National Wildlife Refuge 34075 Ski Hill Road, Soldotna, AK, 99669
