Help with a UAA Psychology Research Study — Community Nature Walks on the Kenai Peninsula

‍ ‍

We’re studying how community nature walks influence positive/negative emotions before and after a walk, and whether adding a brief structured activity on some days makes a difference. Make sure you dress for the weather!

‍ ‍

Free group walks on Ski Hill Trail in Soldotna, Alaska.
🗓 Tuesdays & Saturdays
5:30–6:30 PM
📆 June 9 – August 29 (weather permitting)

What participation looks like:

‍ ‍

  • Scan a QR code just before and after the walk

  • Complete one short survey before and after (on your phone)

  • Optional: a brief reflection question after the walk

  • Some walks include a brief guided activity

‍ ‍

Gift cards: The first 35 eligible participants who complete both surveys may receive a Kaladi Brothers gift card (first-come, first-served; one per person; while supplies last).
