14th Annual Flux Congress

All checked in for my first Flux Congress! Much excite.

The aim of the Flux Congress is to provide a place for developmental cognitive neuroscientists to share their findings on the development of brain processes that support cognition and motivation from an integrative neuroscience perspective. In doing so, it provides an opportunity for scientists in the field to expand their knowledge base, and also be better informed of translational approaches.

That’s a mouthful, essentially, it’s a place for more experienced brain nerds than me to share their learnings, and for people like me to learn about ways this knowledge translates to care for the self, and others. I’m mostly excited to see the new and innovative ways we are looking at the brain (that doesn’t involve cutting up mice) and analyzing changes and development.

I’ll be posting each day this week, to encapsulate what I learned each day, to deepen my learning and potentially disseminate important information.

See you soon!
